This might just be a California thing, but a requirement of a girl’s night is margaritas. Even better if they are pink! I love to make this 4 Step Cotton Candy Margarita Recipe for Valentine’s Day, but it’s a year-round keeper! I’m a girl that appreciates a strong margarita and these are such a great twist on a classic.
It’s so simple to make and one of my favorite cocktails. This 4 step pink cotton candy margarita recipe is a crowd-pleaser and pairs well with the perfect Galentine’s Day Snacks, like popcorn and red hearts.
Easy 4 Step Cotton Candy Margarita Recipe:
- 1/2 cup Lime juice, fresh-squeezed
- 1 package Cotton candy

1/4 cup Orange liqueur
A cute way to garnish the cotton candy margarita is to add extra cotton candy on top or to add baby’s breath flowers as I did. I grabbed a small bunch of baby’s breath, then attached a tiny branch of the flowers with mini clothespins. It turned out so cute and would be aesthetic for the ‘gram too!
Directions:
- Combine all liquid ingredients into a shaker & shake vigorously.
- Fill serving glasses 3/4 of the way with cotton candy it will melt in the next step and give it the pink coloring.
- Pour mixture over cotton candy until the glass is 2/3 full
- Add ice. Stir to combine. Cheers!
A Note on Ingredients:
Cotton Candy can be amazing and taste almost like gelato if made correctly. We don’t want these drinks to taste like cotton candy from the state fair, so I highly recommend ordering these. The quality and taste give the “just made at home” vibe rather than the cotton candy you might remember as a kid.
