Tried and True: Clean Skin Care that Works

After spending the last year trying everything possible to get my chronic illnesses under control, I’ve learned a thing or two about how to keep my environment as non-toxic as possible. When I first started getting sick, I immediately looked at my diet and supplements. But quickly, I realized there was more to it.

Almost every cleaning, laundry, makeup, and skincare product I owned contained chemicals that disrupted hormones and were making my estrogen levels go through the roof.

That’s literally the last thing I wanted as my endometriosis was getting worse than ever. I’ve tried and tested all the ‘clean’ skincare brands & while it’s awesome they were all non-toxic, only a few actually changed my skin.

Clean Skin Care that Works

Enter this toner from Indie Lee. Its main ingredient is CoQ10 (something I’ve talked about before) and is SO plumping for the skin. I also noticed it helped fade dark spots and melasma. WIN.

Even though I have oily skin, moisturizer is still a necessity and I love this one (also from Indie Lee, she’s killing it!). It’s oil-free and lays perfectly under makeup for 12+ hours.

The rest of my routine is linked below. I can’t wait for you guys to try these!!
