This past week I was in New York for my very first season of NYFW! It was an unforgettable experience & I can confidently say I’ll come back to NYFW next Fall. I saw very inspiring shows, discovered great brands + got to connect with other fashion bloggers along the way.
After dreaming about attending New York Fashion week as a little girl, getting the opportunity to see the runway in action was beyond incredible. It’s such a unique moment where you can see the creative direction of a designer on their collection before it hits magazines and stores. It’s truly a breathtaking experience!
DAY 1
On my first day there I got a taste of how incredible the chaos of running around the city in heels was! My first stop was the Kevan Hall runway show to view the Brushstrokes Collection.
Kevan Hall
The Brushstrokes collection was gorgeous and seeing the unique vision come to life was so special for us. Later that afternoon we headed over to the TASOU athleisure wear runway show by designer Chuks Collin.
TASOU
The take on modern, vibrant athelisure turned so many heads and this was one of the most fun shows of the week!
Later that night we went out for dinner in SoHo at Altro Paradiso and headed back to our hotel to get some rest and prep for an early morning!
DAY 2
The first event of the day was an early morning show at Spring Studios for the designer Sienna Li gallery. It was beyond stunning. The models looked ethereal and they were audible gasps from the audience as new looks were revealed.
Shortly after, we headed across town to the Revolve Gallery. It was a multi-story showcase of designers and was such a fun experience.
We then went to dinner at Ampia and had the best pasta before crashing back at the hotel in preparation for one more day.
DAY 3
After a quick brunch we met up with a photographer to snap some street-style looks for Instagram. Soho was such a stunning backdrop and felt so fresh to have on the feed.
After taking off my heels for a couple of hours and shopping in my New Balances, we headed out for our last and final show – Tory Burch! This year it was open to the public and you guys, it was absolutely magical.
Tory Burch
I highly, highly recommend fashion week to anyone! There are so many events and activations open to the public and it’s also an unbeatable networking experience if you’re a fashion blogger/influencer/content creator. Would you go?
