It is officially Fall & I think we can all agree the change of seasons is exciting! I’m looking at adding more blazers, boots, and some trendy cold-weather items to my wardrobe but it’s still pretty hot in San Diego. The mornings here are cool (perfect honestly) & can get back up to 78 and sunny within a few hours. With that in mind, wearing the right outfits can make you feel more comfortable through the contrasting temperatures.
Last week I left the house in a shacket at 8 am freezing only to step out of my car into 70-degree weather when I got to LA. There’s definitely a trick to and how you can easily transition your summer outfits to fall by changing accessories, adding layering pieces, swapping shoes and accessories.

I’ve been wearing this look non-stop the past couple of weeks for the layering effect!
Structured Blazer & Cream Camisole
This look gives a wearable Blair Waldorf vibe & it’s super easy to accomplish! The trick is to pair a plaid blazer with a neutral satin camisole. Worn together, these two items are a traditional romantic Fall fashion look that anyone can wear.
I added my own take on the look by bringing it into 2021 with flared high-waisted jeans from Express & love the stretch of these white ones!
To accessorize, add minimal gold earrings and Blair’s signature headband – but in gold! This cutie is also from Express and I’ll be wearing it the rest of the year with a bunch of different outfits.
You can do heels with this outfit like I did, but I think black or cream boots would also be stunning! I might need to go buy a pair or two haha.
Also, love that the look works for cooler and warmer weather thanks to the blazer!
