The first step is to decide where you’d like to keep your makeup collection. Do you have a vanity? Bathroom countertop? Drawers? Even wall-mounted storage is an option. It’s all up to what your preferences are.
Tip 1: Clear Storage Containers Save so Much Time
You’ve worked hard for the perfect makeup collection and it deserves to be on display! A clear makeup organizer keeps things organized and super accessible. It also helps these can double as decor, looking clean and crisp on your vanity. I used to use makeup bags to hold everything and I kept forgetting where things were and it was just a time-wasting mess!!
Tip 2: Using Labels Helps Keep Things Where They Belong
An extra step to make using drawer organizers an absolute breeze is adding cute labels. If you’re a busy mom, have hectic workdays or maybe even both, labels are a must! It eliminates thinking or having to rummage through things.
Tip 3: Going Vertical Saves Space
I had this wall-mounted mirror in my old apartment and it worked perfectly for the tiny space. It holds all my makeup, skincare, jewelry, and perfumes. Some even come with LED lights.
This is an excellent creative option for a smaller bathroom that holds a ton of products and will keep your counter space cleared of any clutter!

If you have the drawer space for your makeup collection, any of these will make your life so much easier! I personally prefer the acrylic look to keep things looking light and airy. You can also get creative and use a silverware organizer for this project too! Amazon has lots of cute bamboo ones that work great.
2. Lipstick Organizers
Lots of options here, but my favorite is this vertical lipstick organizer. I love that it has a unique design and looks like decor. This one holds 28 lipstick tubes.
Another creative option is to grab a spice rack and mount it to your wall, or just leave it on your counter for easy access.
3. Mirror with Shelving
As mentioned above, this is such a smart option for a smaller space. These can be wall-mounted or come with a stand so there isn’t assembly required. They truly have so much space for makeup storage and the LED lights are amazing quality for doing makeup looks in the mirror it comes with.
4. Makeup Brush Holders
Have any empty candle jars or mason jars lying around? These make great holders for makeup brushes. Amazon also has some fun and affordable options too!
5. Stackable Drawers
There are so many ways to use these! I recommend taking inventory of all the items you have before purchasing to get it customized to exactly what you need. These are great for storing nail polish, blush compacts, bronzers, eyeshadow pallets, eye, and lip liners. If you’re a Sephora junkie like me, you will love these!
You can even dedicate each drawer to each one of your favorite makeup looks. I use my top drawer for all my everyday makeup products.
