How I Whiten My Teeth at Home
While quarantine seems like it’s been going on for-ev-er, I’m also kind of enjoying taking the extra time for self-care. 
After watching so many Youtube videos on clean skincare routines, how to cut your own hair & many others, I ended up seeing one for how to get whiter teeth at home. If not now, when? Ya know?
The extra time at home as me going through literally all of my beauty products and questioning, does this spark joy? You know I’m so picky about skincare & makeup, so I thought it was time to take that same approach to my smile.
I drink an outrageous amount of coffee and no surprise, my consumption has risen in the last week or two. My teeth have been looking yellow in photos and that’s not quite the look I want to go for. Opening up an app to whiten my teeth for Instagram pictures seemed silly, especially since I want my smile to be radiant in real life.
I tried some of the home remedies suggestions in the Youtube reviews, like using activated charcoal, swishing with hydrogen peroxide, and coconut oil pulling methods.
The results from my home whitening experiences were not that drastic and I was left unimpressed. None of the options were great at removing surface stains or overall tooth whitening.
I used to get my teeth whitened in a doctor’s office every few months like clockwork! I had it down to a science & loved the results, but – life got in the way. Last Fall my endometriosis got really bad & I had to undergo surgery with a rough recovery period. My whitening appointments fell to the backburner & when I was feeling well enough to go out, the pandemic hit.

My Teeth Whitening Routine:

Next up, I’ll apply my skincare routine and through on a few makeup items like brow gel and cream blush. My last step before curling my hair is applying a thin layer of my ARC whitening treatment on my teeth. It takes under 5-10 seconds! Then I smile for a minute before going about my day 🙂 Easy right?
