I was so excited to order some new, trendy athleisure outfits last week and they just arrived! I feel like I always workout in the same two outfits, so it was nice to mix it up and I’m loving the new activewear trends. Adidas has the cutest stuff for Spring so I opted for two head-to-toe looks that double for beach runs and athleisure.

Athleisure Outfits trends in 2021:
Forest Green Outwear
Green was such a huge trend in 2020 and I’m so happy it’s here to stay! This gorgeous forest green Aeroknit zip-up windbreaker was so cute on the website and even cuter in person. I see myself wearing this for outdoor workouts and anytime I want to wear something casual. I think this jacket would look great with black leggings too.
Things to note:
- Fit is true to size
- Has two side pockets
- Keeps you WARM, no need to wear a top under if you’re exercising.
The jacket can be styled with yoga pants for a casual look, running leggings for your workout, or shorts for warmer weather. Black sneakers really make the look complete!
Sneakers Made from Recycled Ocean Plastics
The Ultraboost 4.0 DNA from Adidas is great for running, but for me, the main selling point was the materials it’s made from. These sneakers are made with is made with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic.
They come in 6 different colors and I opted for all black, to match all my existing athleisure and activewear outfits! The fit is actually sock-like, super comfortable, and lightweight.

I’m wearing these shoes in the above photo. They are so comfortable and lightweight. I recommend sizing up by a half size for the perfect fit.
Knit Running Shorts
I haven’t picked up a pair of knit running shorts in years but I’m so happy to see this trend is back! I love that these have a mid-rise fit, a long back hem for extra coverage, and sweat-wicking climalite fabric. Perfect for the summer humidity in San Diego! These fit true to size and are so stretchy and soft – a must-have if you ask me.
I wear these running shorts while I’m lounging at home too with a long sleeve henley or oversized t-shirt. They make really cozy pajamas too!
Snap Pants
I was a little hesitant to try these (I’m a millennial and still adjusting to wide-leg pants -ha!), but ended up LOVING them! The comfort level is unmatched and again, I can’t help but think about how fun these will be in the warmer months too.

- Drawcord on elastic waist
I might also wear these pants with a white crop top tee and the olive jacket I’m wearing above as an alternate way to style them as athleisure outfits.
Oversized Graphic Tee
I opted for this one because of the beachy colors. The floral graphics above the pocket from whimsical artist Nini Sum, inspired by the strong spirit of women. Also, love how soft it is and how cozy I felt wearing it!

I had to get the Ultraboost 5.0 DNA in white! These have the same fit and material makeup as the black ones and I love that they match with everything, so I’ll have them around for a long time.
